To Whom It May Concern:
It is with pleasure that I write a letter of reference for Dr. Kathleen Sherwood.  I have known her for several years, and have referred patients to her from my emergency medicine practice. It makes my referral options more complete to have a trusted chiropractor to which I can refer my patients with acute back and neck injuries, as well as more chronic pain syndromes.

More importantly, Dr. Sherwood has personally treated me.  It is difficult for me, trained in allopathic medicine, to judge her technical skills as a chiropractor, but I was very impressed with her holistic approach to my particular problem, recommending not only chiropractic care, but other modalities, including supplements, acupuncture, exercise regimens, and finally orthopedic surgery consultation.  She problem solved with me to determine the best combined approach to my problem.
I recommend Dr. Sherwood without reservation, and the best recommendation I can give is to refer patients to her care, which I do not hesitate to do.

Sincerely,
Michael Flueckiger, M.D.

To whom it may concern:
Re: Kathleen M. Sherwood, D.C.

I have known Kathleen Sherwood, Doctor of Chiropractic, now for several years.  As a Neurologist, knowing little to nothing about the Chiropractic art and sciences, I am able to comment on the following points:
1. Dr. Sherwood is extremely well liked by her patients.  We have several patients in common and they do love her dearly.  They are always impressed with her compassion, her care, and her listening abilities.  On more than one occasion I have envied her people skills and wished that I had her bedside manners.
2. Dr Sherwood is a very honorable physician.  When the time comes, She will release the patient.  The patients are not made to come to the office forever for unnecessary treatment, x-ray or testing.  There is no unnecessary prolongation of care by Dr. Sherwood.
3.  She is an astute clinician.  On more than one occasion she has referred patients to this office with a particular diagnosis such as a herniated disc at a particular level and frequently she has been correct.
4.  My final comment about Dr. Sherwood is that she believes in teamwork, She doesn't hesitate to refer patients to other physicians, especially if the need arises, or if the patient does not respond to chiropractic management.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Dr. Sherwood; I wouldn't hesitate to refer my patients to her.  I would not hesitate to have her adjust my spine if the need arose.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph N. Saba, M.D.

To Whom it May Concern:
It is my pleasure to be asked to write a letter of reference for Dr. Sherwood.  She has been a friend and professional colleague for several years.
As an internist, I have asked Dr. Sherwood to consult on many of my patients when I have felt that chiropractic care was appropriate.  She has always provided excellent care and the patients have frequently commented to me afterwards about her professionalism and expertise.  Her interventions are most often very successful, and she always communicates with me when she feels Neurosurgical, Orthopedic, or other consultations are warranted.  In short, I have always been confident she will provide competent, ethical, and professional care to our patients.
Sincerely,

J. William Budell, M.D.
