I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University. My background prior to chiropractic included working with individuals with brain injuries, and cognitive challenges. While I was in high school and throughout undergrad college I suffered from episodic headaches as well as stomach pain from taking pain medication to “control” the headaches. This didn’t fit for me because I became a vegetarian at the age of fourteen and pursued a holistic lifestyle which did not include medications, yet the headache symptoms painful and I felt I had no choice. After not finding a solution for my pain through the typical medical route, I finally discovered chiropractic care through a close friend. After a relatively brief period of time I began having fewer and fewer headaches of much less intensity as my neck problems were corrected. I was relieved and amazed at the results! Shortly after, I moved to the Atlanta area to attend Life Chiropractic University where I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994. After graduating, I opened my family practice in the Atlanta area. I absolutely love being a chiropractor and consider it a calling. It’s wonderful to help patients feel and function better than they have in years and rediscover the things they love to do again.

I am originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, but moved to New York to attend Binghamton University in 2004. After 3 years in a pre-med program, I became conflicted about continuing because the focus was on sickness instead of HEALTH. Serendipitously, a close college friend of mine told me about chiropractic and the philosophy that our bodies have the intelligence to heal, grow and maintain ourselves once interference to those processes is removed. A spark was ignited and I knew that a profession that enabled me to care for patients with my hands, without drugs or surgery was the career and lifestyle I was looking for. As a result, I bee-lined to LIFE University in Atlanta, GA in the Fall of 2008 to start my chiropractic journey.
I then met my beautiful wife Lena, who is from Germany, while a chiropractic student and we now have three Germ-aican children! Lora and Noah are 6 and 4 years old respectively and our new addition, Mia, was born in February of 2016! I enjoy playing tennis, chess and Nintendo Wii games with my family. I also enjoy brisk (but short) runs as I was formerly a sprinter in high school.
We moved to Decatur on December 1, 2015 to maximize the opportunity to be a part of the incredible team at Sherwood Chiropractic Center and live in the vibrant and diverse community ITP!
